Latest Event Updates
Yea, it’s super exciting. Got some really good updates … actually, it’s really only one update. I haven’t been blogging much this past week and probably won’t be blogging much over the next 3 weeks. I’m partaking in “Camp NaNoWriMo“. The really exciting part is over on the Stories tab of my page, you can see the novel I’m writing. I called it the Werewolf Diaries. I have 4 chapters put up on there, so please do take a look =). I hope you enjoy what I’ve written thus far ^.^ !! Well, that’s all I really have for this update. Once the end of the month hits I’ll be back in full swing of writing my dailies again =).
Been a few days since I posted. Been trying to write my 50,000 word novel. It’s def harder than it sounds. On a good note, I got a dog :D. So I thought this daily post was interesting given the fact that do I in fact walk my dog on the street =). Streets on a funny thing though. They come in all different shapes and sizes, names and directions. They’re kind of ever changing in a sense. For instance I live on a street named after a president, there are 5 other streets named after presidents as well. I don’t know who came up with that idea but OK! Our street is kind of small though and when turning onto it, if another car is waiting at the stop sign if you take the turn too wide, you’ll run the risk of hitting a telephone poll.
It’s just a crazy street that I live on, nice neighborhood but the street kind of sucks. It’s not so bad for walking a dog on though, plenty of room for that haha. OK, end of post.
This topic has me thrown for a loop. Colorful can apply to so many different things. So I picked a picture that is colorful in itself to write about =),
When I look at the picture of this sky not only is it colorful but it is so majestic. The way the colors run from one to the other, the moon being surrounded by stars. It truly is beautiful in every sense of the word. If I could wake up or go to bed looking at something as beautiful as this, that would be absolutely amazing. I really do love this picture of this sky, it truly is beautiful. I’ve been sitting here staring at the picture for the better part of 5 minutes. I don’t know what else to write here. So I guess I’ll just leave this one short =)
OK, so today marks the opening of the NaNoWriMo and I signed up to do it. So I may not have a daily prompt posted everyday but you can keep up with what I’m writing by going to the “Stories” tab and check out “Strange Mage“. Anyhow, let’s dig into this prompt =),
The social network
Do you feel like you “get” social media, or do you just use it
because that’s where all your friends and family are?
This is a pretty good question. I think it’s a mix of both for me. I use it to connect with family and friends but I also like to just see what else is going on in the world with things that interest me. I feel like social media opens the door to a lot of bigger possibilities and that in itself is the appeal to it. I think where Myspace failed is where Facebook succeeded and that’s in offering a realm of possibilities outside of just “friends”. So yes, I “get” social media and I use it on a daily basis to connect with the world around me. A lot of times, it’s easier than texting people cause your already in front of a computer.
So I was challenged via email to do a dare of the day. Hadn’t done one of these before, so I thought I would give it a shot. Gets my mind off of the whole novel thing I’ll be doing in the month of April. So anyhow, let’s see what we got good,
Dare of the Day
Write about a meaningful “first”.
When I think of a first, I think of the first time I was ever truly in love with someone. This girl was the most amazing woman I had ever met in my entire life. I thought I could love someone so deeply, passionately, endlessly, until I met her. Her name was Crystal and we met through a former friend of mine some years back. I was young, she was a young and I was so in love. Just being around her was intoxicating. Have some was never enough, nothing was ever enough. I don’t even really know how to describe it at all, for me it just left me in a complete state of aww. I never knew someone could drive someone to want to be better in every aspect of that word. She did though and it was absolutely amazing. Needless to say, I was as she put it “too clingy” so the relationship ended. I guess I could see her point but she was like a drug and I didn’t wanna stop using. It took the better part of 10 years before I finally stopped being in love with her. We stayed friends over the years and she’s a completely different person than she used to be. I still choose to remember those moments because they really were the firsts for a lot of things =).
This is such a good title for today’s post. “Refresh”! It can mean so many wonderful things, not only for your mind, body and soul but for the people around you and your interactions with others.
For me the biggest period of refresh, is when I lay down and go to sleep. Last night for example, I slept for 12 hours. I woke up feeling great, refreshed and ready to tackle some blogging and get some errands done for the day while I’m still down at my paps; before I go home tomorrow for a few days. I’d like to say that being down at my paps and helping him out is refreshing but it tends to be more stressful than it is refreshing. Being at my place is definitely more refreshing. I just get to kick back, relax, chill and watch some tv and write with minimal to no interruptions.
One of my favorite ways to “refresh” used to be going to the beach or a theme park. I miss having the extra money to do those things. Cotton candy on a bench while watching the waves. Breakfast on the outside patio while watching dolphins swim and jump in the ocean. I can close my eyes and visualize it as I’m writing this. Well, that’s what refresh means to me, I wish I could be at the beach this summer but it looks like I’ll be waiting for a couple more years before I get to =(.
Here it is, the last day of March and what a way to finish off the last day but with another amazing word prompt. Let’s dig in and see what it brings us =),
Does a messy home (or office) make you anxious and cranky,
or is cleaning something you just do before company comes
Actually, it’s really something I only do when company comes over and even then it depends on who the company is that dictates whether or not I clean at all. People know that I don’t really care what the place looks like. I know that’s not the greatest attitude to have but it is what it is, you know. However, I do give my place a big clean a couple times a year. So I’m not a total slob :D. Honestly, my medication kinda keeps me catatonic in a sense. Lacking motivation for a lot of things. It’s slowly getting better though, which is a good thing =)!
